Meet the Riley Hays Roofing Team

The people at Riley Hays have been doing this work long enough to know what good looks like. Most of our team members have been with the company for years. A few have been here since close to the beginning. This page gives you a sense of who they are.

A note before you read on: our crew includes contractors who are not listed here. They contribute to every job we deliver, and we are grateful for the work they put in.

Riley Hays and Sarah Kirk Hays

Owners

Riley and Sarah Hays built this company and they still run it. Both are Oklahoma State University graduates with deep roots in Arkansas. Before founding Riley Hays Roofing, Riley was a licensed insurance adjuster — experience that informs how the company handles storm damage claims and works with homeowners through the insurance process to this day. He has been in the roofing industry for over 18 years. Sarah manages the operational side of the business. Together they have four children and are active members of the Little Rock community. Family, faith, and hard work are the values they bring to the company and to every job it takes on.

Mike Kirk

Human Resources Manager

Mike joined the team in February 2023. He supports the front-line staff and manages human resources for the company. His background spans 14 years as a chemist with Kraft Foods and a 23-year career in higher education as a teacher, administrator, and counsellor. Outside of work he is active in his church, runs regularly, plays pickleball, and prioritises time with his grandchildren.

Jared Riley

Residential Sales and Project Manager

Jared has been with Riley Hays since the spring of 2015 and has worked in roofing and construction since 2007. He has a particular interest in complex custom roof systems and a strong emphasis on building lasting relationships with customers. He was raised in the construction industry and holds to the standard of craftsmanship his father instilled in him.

Karen Ramirez

Administrative Specialist

Karen joined the team in spring 2022 and has continued learning about the industry every day since. She is committed to giving customers the best service the office can provide. Outside of work she values time with family and brings the same creative attention to her personal life as she does to her role here.

Wayne Robinson

Field Operations Manager

Wayne has been with Riley Hays since spring 2018. He manages field operations and is a proud father of three boys. He spends his free time woodworking and with his family.

Jorge Garcia

Residential Sales and Project Manager

Jorge joined the team in summer 2019. He is committed to team building and continuous learning, and brings a genuine enthusiasm for getting the job done right. His time off is spent with his family and outdoors.

Kwesi Hunter

Residential Sales and Project Manager

Kwesi joined in summer 2021. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Southern Arkansas University and brings extensive insurance claims experience to his role. That background is directly relevant to the storm damage and insurance claim work that is a significant part of what we do. Before joining the team he was a drilling fluids engineer in the oilfield. He spends his free time fishing, hunting, and golfing with his wife and daughter.

Rodney Carr

NWA Residential Sales and Project Manager

Rodney joined the team in August 2020 and leads our Northwest Arkansas territory. He has been in the construction industry since he was 18. He has three daughters and spends his free time outdoors — fishing, hiking, hunting, and kayaking.

Tyler Kelley

Commercial Sales and Project Manager

Tyler joined the team in August 2022 after separating from active duty military service. He continues to serve with the Houston National Guard as part of their bomb squad unit. He is a golfer, motorcycle rider, and dedicated family man.

Memo Bello

Repair Specialist

Memo joined the team in summer 2022 and has been in construction since 2011. Since joining Riley Hays he has developed strong expertise in roofing systems. He spends his free time hiking, fishing, and on Sundays takes his family to church.

Taylor Morris

Field Support

Taylor served over a decade in the US Air Force bomb squad before joining the team. He is guided by faith and a deep commitment to family, his wife Caitlin, and daughters Alli and Maddi. He grew up in Oklahoma with a love of hunting and fishing that has stayed with him.

William Lafferty

Commercial Estimator and Project Manager

William joined the team in early summer 2023. He built his knowledge base across multiple roles in the construction industry from 2001 to 2017, then spent years working as a large loss building consultant in the claims adjusting industry, advising clients and adjusters through the restoration process. That background is a direct asset for our commercial clients navigating complex insurance claims. He hunts with his son, rides ATVs with his daughter, and is focused on delivering quality work.

Huey Kelley

Commercial Driver

Huey joined the team in January 2024 after relocating from Washington State to be closer to family in Arkansas. He enjoys golf and time outdoors, and makes the most of time with family including his two-year-old grandson.

Sarah Kelley

Office Manager

Sarah joined the team in September 2022, returning after previously working with Riley Hays from 2018 to 2020. Originally from Idaho, she came to Arkansas through her husband's Air Force service. She manages the office with the same standard she applies to everything: thorough and focused on the customer. She is a reader, enjoys outdoor activities, and is kept busy by her two-year-old son Paxton.
